Windows Mobile 7 minimum requirements could make it available on High-end phones only.

We’ve been so caught up in the Windows Mobile 7 launch date rumors, we almost forgot about Microsoft’s supposed leaked minimum specifications requirements. After all, this is a company that issued maximum Windows 7 netbook specs.

Supposedly, Microsoft’s weighing down on hardware manufacturers wishing to create tidy little phones for the platform, with the following list of minimum specifications garnered by Eldar Murtazin, the editor of leaky site Mobile-Review:

- 1GHz processor;
- 3.6-inch WVGA display;
- G-sensor accelerometer and compass;
- 8GB of internal storage;
- 5.0-megapixel camera.

I’ve got to say, if Murtazin is on the money with this list of minimum requirements, then we’re in for a treat—though potentially an expensive one, with some of those specs bound to push the cost of each device north-ways.

Gio512 EasyTouch UI – dress up your FlashLite enabled device!

Gio512 EasyTouch UI is a new project I’m working on… It’s made using FlashLite, so every WQVGA and WVGA device can run it! Above there are some screenshot of the first alpha version.

Some features are:

- Nice and Stylish GUI

- Fancy animations and transitions

Gio512 Windows Mobile 7 Transformation Pack v1.1

Hi guys! Today we will talk about Gio512 Windows Mobile 7 Transformation Pack v1.1. As the name says, it turns your WM6.5 interface into a the new Windows Mobile 7 concept interface. As you can see from the thumbs aloft, it’ really nice!

Original Titanium theme is here.

Downloads are available at the end of the post. So proceed as described below.

Minium Requirements:

• A WM6.5 device with Titanium plugin
• Any resolution is supported!

Installation Istructions:

1. Disable the “Titanium” plugin if already enabled.
2. Install “Ibrythill WM 7 Titanium Project.cab” (NOTICE THAT ALL CABs MUST BE INSTALLED ON ROOT).
3. Install “blackblue.cab”.
4. Apply “Ibrythill” theme from “SETTINGS”>”TODAY” and enable Titanim plugin again.
5. Use the “Gio512_WM7_Concept_Wallpaper.jpg” picture as wallpaper with 0% transparency.
6. BOGYSOFT Windows Media Player 12 (WVGA/VGA/WQVGA).cab
7. Restart the device if required (If you install with WMP closed, you could avoid this step )
8. Enjoy!

README for older versions is available in their own “.zip” archive.

To RESTORE the original Titanium skin:

1. Disable Titanium plugin
2. rp_thm_titanium_default_restore v2.2.cab
3. Enable Titanium plugin
